Here at Archangel we get a lot of questions about ourselves, the tattooing process, and tattoos in general. For your convenience, here are some frequently asked questions:

What are your store hours?

what are your rates?

Tattoos are priced by the hour. Our current rate is $130/ hr including G.S.T. Anything a half hour or less is a minimum charge of $80.

How long of a wait is it to get tattooed?

That depends on who you want to do your tattoo, as we all book tattoos differently. Because we are custom shop, wait times vary, depending on the artist and the artwork. Our MINIMUM wait time is usually about 2 weeks.

Do you take walk ins?

Because we often book far in advance, the chances of walking in and getting tattooed on the spot is fairly slim. However, you are more then welcome to come in and discuss tattoo ideas with one of the artists. If possible, we may be able to tattoo you the same day.

Can I book an appointment over the phone?

We usually don't book appointments over the phone because it is difficult to determine things like the size, placement, or cost of a tattoo (as well as how long it will take) unless we have a visual idea of what we are doing. We prefer you come in to book an appointment as we do take deposits.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed, and do I need parental consent?

We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. If you appear to be underage, we may ask to see your identification before tattooing you.

Why do I have to leave a deposit?

Because we are a custom shop, we draw most of the tattoos we do ourselves. The deposit does 2 things: it acts as confirmation of your appointment, and ensures that we don't spend time drawing a tattoo and never see our client again. Deposits come off the cost of your tattoo, and are non refundable. Our minimum deposit is $40, but can range up to a few hundred dollars depending on size and cost of your tattoo.
